How To Enable Google Chat In Gmail

Introduction

Hi Guys 

We all use instant messaging applications like Insta_direct, Whatsapp, Telegram, Messages, etc. like this, Google has its own instant messaging app (Hangouts) google chat. We all know it was a failure. 

But now Google pulls backed the hangouts in Gmail alongside Google meet. Let's take a look at how to do that.

Step 1 - Open Gmail app

1. Open your app launcher 
2. Click on the Gmail app

Step 2 -

1. In Gmail app
2. Click on the hamburger button on the left side of the Gmail app

Step 3 -

1. Scroll down to the settings option
2. Click on settings

Step 4 -

1. Select your preferred mail id which you like to use Google chat (Hangouts).
2. Or you can add another Gmail account

Step 5 -

1. Scroll down and find the general option
2. In general, you can see an options chat (early access)☑️
3. Check this option

Step 6 -

1. Click on try it to start using Google Chat
2. After automatic restart of Gmail app 

• You can see the "Chats" and "Rooms" option 

• Click on New chat for Start Using Google Chat
